Even though the rest of the world is happily gearing up for fall - cozy sweater and oversized coats galore, California is still scorching as if we are in the middle of July; the heat has just been clinging on to us, reluctant to let go!

I am loving these comfy yet stylish harem-style pants! The slit on the side keeps it from getting too hot which is perfect for these humid summer months!

[OOTD] Sheer Fun

A pretty short post since I didn't do a full shoot. Just some quick shots next to my work place hehe~

I've been super into white-on-white lately. And just white in general. 80% of all clothing I buy nowadays is white lol. It just looks so crisp and classy to me - all while being totally effortless! And wow I LOVE sheer panels right now. 

[OOTD] Bubble Bubble Pop Pop! ♫

A fun, quirky, more colorful shoot that I did.  The style of the outfit is inspired by a host of Japanese alternative styles: lolita, hime gyari, fairy kei, and bits of Korean ulzzang style as well. I've always wanted to do a cutesy yet more provocative bed photoshoot and I really love the results of this shoot. Totally turned out what I was hoping for!

[OOTD] Borrowed Wings

Hello all! I finally got a chance to take some ootd photos after SO LONG of not taking any!

It was making me very sad that I didn't have time to take ootd photos because I've been wearing some cute pieces lately. I'm planning to clear a wall of my room so that I can have some nice blank space to take a daily ootd photo before I head off for school/work :) I'll keep you posted on that.

The black sheep

I have to admit it — I freaking miss Europe already.  The thing I miss most about it?  

How everyone looks absolutely stunning and effortlessly stylish all the damn time.  

It seems like they just roll out of bed looking and dressed like Burberry models or something.  I guess I really love ACTUAL winter weather and clothing (cough I just went to the pool today and it’s 70F right now in SoCal =_= cough) and how the styles are so sharp and clean and sophisticated.  Even old ladies and middle aged business men look oddly impeccable in their long double breasted wool coats and thick plaid scarves — also I LOVE how everyone actually WEARS scarves. Real scarves, not some flimsy little floral printed thing blowing in the wind.

I came back here to be enormously disappointed by the sheer carelessness of the way most Californians dress and how you can tell there was absolutely no effort put in there at all.  I know we’re known for a laid back, casual lifestyle but COME ON, you really couldn’t have changed out of that torn, stained random college t-shirt you’ve been wearing for the last five days?  -shudders-

I understand the fact that we do not have any type of remotely real winter weather here but that doesn’t mean we have to look like haggard old grannies who live under rocks all the time, right?

All that being said, I looked absolutely ridiculous today prancing around campus with my Zara black coat when it was literally beach day weather outside.

What can I say? I terribly miss Europe and just trying to make myself feel a tad bit better.

Hiii everyone !  My outfit today was sort of a weird mash-up cross over between something steampunk and morigirl at the same time ..? I don't even know but I know I love my amazing socks from sockdreams! :D  They are so comfy and nice to wear and they just make all my outfits looks better!  Yay for mismatched socks!

I picked up that mismatched socks look from Kato who is my idol in every aspect and I just adore her so so so much.   She's PERFECT >___<

So what I've been up to: I've been posting a lot on lookbook and trying to update my blog and social media a lot more. I'm trying to build up a larger reader base and audience for my big reveal that will hopefully come before the end of this year :)  

Went to get ramen today at Gomen Ramen with my best friend and my sister. Wha~ It was very yummy ><''  I was so full ahaha.  Even though I've been eating out a lot, I've lost ~2 inches in my waist O_o;  I think because I'm kind of stressed out lately thinking about school and my future plans, etc.
