New Morning Face Regimen

Hello everyone!

Recently I switched up my morning facial routine because I found an awesome new product!

It's called the 3-step Acne System by Equate.  It's sold at Walmart for only $12 and apparently has the same  ingredients and results as Proactive! Isn't that amazing?

So I've been using this system for about a week now and indeed my skin has shown much improvements.
The most improvement I've seen was that the acne that was beginning to flatten out has turned to almost no color at all since the beginning when I started using this and they were all still red and a bit puffy.  Now they're all flat and lost all the red color so they're way less noticeable.

So first I dampen my face with some lukewarm water just to wake myself up a bit and prepare myself for step one: cleansing.

Make sure to use lukewarm water and not cold nor hot water because both extreme temperatures can cause your capillaries to break, causing more acne to break out.

I squeeze out a dollop of the cleansing cream into my hand.  Then I apply the cleansing cream on and massage into face for about 1-2 minutes.  There is more clear-cut instructions on the bottle if you need it.

After that, wash it out thoroughly with lukewarm water.  I then pat my face dry with a towel before applying the toner.

Using a cotton ball or cotton pad, I pour some toner onto it and apply it to my face.  When done applying to entire face, I just let it stand and slowly dry up. It dries up pretty quickly even if you do use alot.

Right after this, since my skin is dry type, I apply the lotion right away so that it doesn't dry up and get all flaky.

So just apply the lotion normally like you would any moisturizer.  All of these three products say to use sunscreen if you are going into the sun after using the products, and since I will be going into the sun, I put on some product with SPF.  This product is called BB cream.

I've done a whole lot of research on bb cream and it's benefits for a long time. I've even experimented with a couple different kinds to see how well they work with my skin.

Here's an excerpt on bbcream:
BB cream stands for blemish balmblemish base, or beblesh balm (apparently because of a trademark in Korea on the word "blemish"), and in Western markets, beauty balm. It is a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia, although larger beauty brands are increasingly introducing BB creams to Western markets.
BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage.

My favorite BBcream is actually SKIN79 Hot pink. I think it works the best with my skin.
However, I'm currently using MISSHA 21:

I really like using this product(s) because they just perform so many functions at once and really provide me great results with efficiency.  So it acts as a sunscreen, anti-wrinkle, whitening, anti-aging, and of course as a foundation.

It's perfect for those who don't have a lot of time on their hands and are in a hurry to do their makeup in the morning.  It has saved me a lot of time so do check it out if you're interested.
You can buy it from amazon.com.  Don't buy from Ebay- they're the cheap copies and will probably do you more harm than good.

So yup, that's it for my morning skin care routine!  If needed, I will sometimes apply some concealer as well but lately I haven't really needed to.

Hope you enjoyed reading and if you guys wanna try out these products, you should go get them at the places I mentioned and let me know how they worked for you!

Thanks for reading~!
